Iron & Anvil — Terms of Service

Effective October 1, 2026

1. Who this agreement is with

Iron & Anvil ("the App," "we," "us") is operated by Ironclad Forge Works, LLC, reachable at support@ironcladforgeworks.com. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

2. What Iron & Anvil is

Iron & Anvil is a strength-training app for planning workout routines, logging sets/reps/weight, tracking bodyweight and personal records, and — optionally — getting AI-generated coaching suggestions based on your logged history. It's available on iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. The App does not knowingly allow account creation by anyone younger, and age is checked during onboarding.

4. Your account

• You can create an account with an email and password, or sign in with Google or Apple.
• You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is permanent and immediate — see Section 8.

5. Your content

Everything you enter — routines, workout logs, bodyweight, profile details, and anything you send through AI Coach Check-In — is yours. We store it to provide the App back to you (syncing across your devices, showing your history, generating coaching suggestions) and don't claim ownership of it. See the Privacy Policy for exactly how it's used and who it's shared with.

You agree not to enter anything unlawful, abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights, and not to use the App to store or transmit content unrelated to fitness tracking.

6. Coach Steele — important limitations

Coach Steele, our AI Coach Check-In feature, uses a third-party AI model (Anthropic's Claude) to suggest adjustments to your training based on your logged workouts. Please understand:

• This is not medical, health, or professional fitness advice. It's an automated suggestion based on pattern-matching against your own logged data, nothing more.
• The suggestions can be wrong. AI-generated output can misread your history, suggest inappropriate loads, or miss something a human coach or doctor would catch.
• You are responsible for your own training decisions. Always use your own judgment, and consult a doctor before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have an existing health condition.

7. Physical activity — assumption of risk

Strength training carries an inherent risk of injury. By using the App, you acknowledge that:

• You're voluntarily participating in physical activity based on routines and suggestions the App provides.
• We are not responsible for injuries that result from your training, whether or not you followed an AI Coach suggestion.
• You should stop and seek medical attention if something doesn't feel right — the App has no way to know your physical condition in real time.

8. Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings, at any time, without contacting support. This is irreversible — once deleted, your routines, workout history, and profile cannot be recovered. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what's removed.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access another user's account or data.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the App or its backend.
• Use the App to abuse rate limits, probe for vulnerabilities, or disrupt service for other users.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

10. No warranty

The App is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI Coach suggestions will be accurate or suitable for you. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ironclad Forge Works, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including injury resulting from physical activity undertaken based on App content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (currently $0, as the App has no paid features).

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the App changes. If we make a material change, we'll make a reasonable effort to notify you in-app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
